Shropshire Business Women

Set up 1994, as the Shropshire Business Women’s Society when networking groups were in their infancy. Founding members were looking for a dynamic environment where women could exchange news, views and information as well as hear stimulating presentations and learn new ideas to help them in their businesses.

Unable to find a group that was friendly, supportive and business focussed the members set up their own – and the rest is history!

The first meetings attracted large numbers proving that there was a demand for such a group. Despite an explosion of networking groups, including several other women only business groups which followed in our footsteps, our group continues to offer a place where business women can grow and develop as well as do business.

Re-launched as the Shropshire Business Women (SBW) in 2007, the group now meets in Buckatree Hall Hotel on the first Monday of every month (except January). Find out about the events programme and directions by clicking onto the Events and Venues section.
